I've had soaked oats on their own and I love smoothies with berries (I recently wrote about a smoothie I do with blueberries and hidden spinach if you're interested in trying something different). So this is definitely a must-try for me. I will probably use soymilk or rice milk instead of the yogurt, but otherwise will follow exactly. In fact, I think I'll go right now and start soaking the oats! :) Thanks for this recipe. (Oh, and an ice cream version?? Wow. Can't wait for summer).Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5498332469430544166.post-71893718979922049112008-02-10T16:57:00.000-05:002008-02-10T16:57:00.000-05:00I really want to try this but am out of town for a...I really want to try this but am out of town for a week so soaking overnight isn't going to happen til I get back but will be keeping this in mind as I have blueberries in the freezer and apple juice in the fridge so it sounds like a drink for me (and I am curious but wary about oats in drinks!)Johanna GGGhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08594201473931487490noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5498332469430544166.post-80606713029540085802008-02-09T21:56:00.000-05:002008-02-09T21:56:00.000-05:00Much love to you Holler. I am glad you liked the smoothie! I am thinking of churning the same mixture in my ice cream maker, come summer.
