thank you and have a good weekend
Sounds good Lisa! will surely try to send in something!:)
This could be good for my carnivorous side and add some balance!
hurrah for a vegetarian blog event! Soups and salads is a great idea - I am already wondering what soup to make - am pleased to see this event added to other blogging events and will do my best to join in!
Good post Lisa, you have done us proud! I can't wait to see everyone's entries!
Thanks Holler. I'm really looking forward to everyone's entries too!
What a perfect event...especially this time of year when it's so damp and cold in so many places. I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with.
Ruth;
I hope you will participate!
Count me in - thanks for the invite guys!
I second Johanna's comment, It's nice to see a blogging event just for vegetarians. I would love to participate and have a soup in mind!
I'd love to join, seems a little more flexible than the Foodie Joust!
I will surely join in! Thanks for the warm invitation Lisa. Wish you and Holler Good luck and Success for this event!
Very much looking forward to your entry Padma. Thanks for stopping by.
This sounds like an AWESOME event Lisa! Can't wait to see all the yumminess that ensues!
Great event - I'm going to send you my entry now!!
I love the idea for this event, too, and can't wait to send in my submission. Hurrah soup!
Mmmm.
I am busy as heck this month, but I can't wait to see what the results are! I will try to submit something of my own.
Yay, vegetarian food blog events!
Wow...will definitely try and post something.
Thank You for holding such a great event, I just sent you my entry! :)
Hi!
I just discovered your new blog event and I'm sure going to participate (next time, since I'm too late now). But: Why is the title for a vegetarian event 'No croutons required'? I thought croutons are roasted or fried bread crumbs? Or is there something I'm missing?
Best wishes, Sus
Lisa and Holler, if only I had known! The celery soup would have been entered and referenced. Never mind, always a next time.
Cheers
David
I hope I am not to late, I just sent you my entry details.
Ulrike from Küchenlatein

Asha; I got your entry. Thank you. I replied to your email, but I guess it got caught in the spam filter.
David; It's not too late to participate. I will be excepting entries until tomorrow morning. Looking forward to your submissions in future.
Sue; Thanks for stopping by. As I said above, you have until tomorrow morning to send in your entry. I hope you will participate in future editions of "No Croutons Required." As for the choice of names for our vegetarian event, it's mainly a soup and salad challenge, at least for now, and croutons go well with soup and salad, if desired.
Oh what fun! I'm going to have to try for next month.
Lisa,
Spicy Soups? I would not even send another one. Count me in!

New to your blog .Great event!! Will try to participate.Have a good day
hey, are archived posts allowed ?
Archived posts are okay, but we ask that you repost it and also link back to our event.
Hi,
I wanted to check if I can submit recipe submitted to another event with a different theme.
Hi Megha;
That is fine, so long as corn is the central ingredient, and it is a vegetarian dish and you provide a link back.
Hi Lisa,
I was just wondering if its okay to submit the same recipe to other events too in addition to yours?
I m asking because some events have such restrictions!
Thanks
Hi Tanvi;
That is fine, so long as your recipe is a vegetarian one featuring corn, with a link back.
Regards,
Lisa
I recently came across your blog and have been reading along. I thought I would leave my first comment. I don't know what to say except that I have enjoyed reading. Really a nice post here!
